I've always had an interest in art. Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, I was surrounded by subject matter for my Western art. After earning my B.A. in Art from Chadron State College I returned to operate the farm and do my art in the off season. I've painted in oils since 1974 and I've sculpted and cast bronzes since 1996.
Major accomplishments have included sculptures for the National Cattleman's Beef Association Environmental Stewardship Awards and a life-sized Civil War Soldier for a monument in Sutton, NE.
